Summertime in Chicago

My favorite hibiscus is still the tropical one. We do have Rose of Sharon that looks like tiny hibiscus and they also bloom profusely in the summer but still nothing could beat the ones that grows in the tropics.

What color we lack in Winter, Chicago makes up for it during the Summer. I enjoy the flowers that abound all over the city as it makes it like a big city garden and it does transport you to someplace warm, except Chicago can well duplicate the heat and humidity.

But as long as there is hibiscus around, I might as well think I am in Hawaii or the Philippines.

Wowzers! Beautiful! (‘Wowzers’ is a seldom used word of appreciation amongst photography enthusiasts)

Really? I haven’t heard of the word Wowzer before. Is that synonymous to Yawza?
